Knowledge transfer and exchange of experience on materials sciences and technologies in Europe: The 17th European Conference and Exhibition on Advanced Materials and Processes - FEMS EUROMAT 2023 - will be held for the first time as a hybrid event on the Westend campus of Goethe University Frankfurt as well as online.

Shaping the future of materials together: MSE, organized by the DGM, is one of the most important European events in the field of materials science and technology. It takes place every two years and is not only a congress, but also a celebration of innovation and inspiration. This year, however, it is even more special, as the guest country is Sweden - a pioneer in materials science.

Perspectives for composites with biogenic components in the context of bioeconomy, circular economy and technical application

SAVE THE DATE: Nanotechnology is a core technology utilized in numerous sectors. The 5th Symposium on Nanotechnology, organized by the German Federal Institute for Risk Assessment (BfR) and the Fraunhofer Nanotechnology Network FNT, will once again address the opportunities and risks associated with this rapidly evolving field. The two-day event at the Fraunhofer Institute for Silicate Research ISC in Würzburg will address a range of topics related to the application of nanotechnology in various sectors, including digitalization, 2D/3D printing, membranes, carbon-based and battery materials, and automotive applications.

SAVE THE DATE: Nanotechnology is used as a key technology in numerous areas. The consideration of opportunities and risks will also be the focus of the 4th symposium. During the two-day event, topics such as the use of nanotechnology in textiles and packaging, its application in agriculture, the introduction of nanomaterials into the body and future-oriented assessment approaches will be presented. The event will be held in English.

Dr. Carsten Gellermann is chairing the session "Nanomaterials in products and processes and circular considerations" at the Materials Science and Engineering Congress (MSE) and is looking forward to numerous participation and presentations on the topic. The congress will be held September 27-29, 2022, as a hybrid event. Deadline for abstracts is February 28, 2022.
